Nature and the appeal of "wilderness "

 Okay, so this is a mini-rant. ;) Be forewarned, haha!!

I like to hike, I like to get outdoors and experience nature. Lately we have seen painted rocks along some of our hiking trails and that definitely makes me growl. Or at least huff. 

Yeah, I understand that some folks think they are cute or maybe they actually do brighten some people's days...but when I am hiking. I really don't want to see a lot of man made items...at least give me the facade of wilderness! Maybe these painted rocks would be cute in someone's garden or something,  but please not out in the woods!!
